BURNAWAY Development Update #13 (Books Being Mailed to You Edition!)

Hello there!
Well, as some of you have already found out, the physical editions of BURNAWAY have gone out in the mail! Very happy to see some folks posting their rewards in the discord server. I still have a couple extra ones to mail out on Monday, but if you backed for a physical reward, including one or more poster, you should expect them by the end of this coming week. If you don't recieve anything by then, please reach out to me so I can get you sorted!
At long last, this Kickstarter campaign is at an end. And once again, thank you so much to every single person who followed and backed this project. It was an honor to get to work on it and see it through, and it wouldn't have happened without your support. I'm not quite sure what's next; I've got other game ideas and projects in the pipeline, but everything's in the conceptual stages right now. So, until whatever's next, please enjoy BURNAWAY!
Self-satisfactorily,

BURNAWAY Development Update #12 (Big ol' Box o' Books Edition!)

Hello there!
Oh boy, this is the update I have been looking forward to writing since pretty much this whole thing started.
I got a UPS tracking notification yesterday morning and was checking all day; it ended up being delivered just under the deadline in the evening, but who cares, it's here! Two very heavy boxes, loaded up with what I consider to be a pretty dang cool ttrpg book.
I'm really happy with how these turned out. And now, you get to see for yourself!
The add-on posters have been printed as well, so I just need to get some proper packaging today and I'll be working on shipping these out as soon as I can.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I'll be unlocking surveys for about 48 hours in order for anyone who needs to to change their shipping info, just in case it's different from what it was a couple months ago. If you miss that window, please email me post-haste so we can get your stuff to the right place.
I've said it many times and meant it each time, thank you for your support in making this game happen. Three years was a longer and more challenging development time that I had imagined when I first started this project, but I'm glad I followed through with it, and got to do so with a team of very cool people and supporters!

BURNAWAY Development Update #11 (Waiting for the Printer Edition!)

Hello there!
Happy New Year to all who celebrate! To those who don't, we're sorry to leave you behind in your timeless voidspace.
I hope that everyone's been happy with the digital pdf of BURNAWAY that we were able to release in the previous update! If you had any trouble getting your copy, please reach out and let me know and I'll get it sorted.
As for the physical copies, our exceedingly talented layout editor Chris and I were able to get the final version set up and sent to the printer's over the holidays, and I'm currently expecting an update from them, ideally with the order fulfilled, around the end of this week. My next update will come once I've got the order in my hands and they're ready to put in the post and send out to you!

BURNAWAY Development Update #10 (Happy Digitial PDF day!)

Hello there!
I just got back from a month+ long international trip roughly twelve hours ago and am settling into the wobbly haze of jetlag. But, incredibly exciting news! You may have noticed an email or two from Backerkit hit your inbox today; we've been able to lock addresses and final orders, and that means that, at long last, we're able to send out our first completed reward of this campaign; the BURNAWAY digital edition!
While there's still a little ways to go till we get to hold the physical copy in our hands, this is a pretty big moment. Months of editing and layout revisions have culminated in this final, finished tabletop roleplaying game, 172 pages of full-color goodness! When I flip through it, it somehow doesn't feel like something that I made, in the sense that for years all of my ttrpg writing hasn't really made it out of the "massive word doc draft" stage. But, only thanks to the incredible effort put in by the team, and your campaign support, it's a certifiably a real-ass ttrpg you can play! Or hoard in your 54gb "ttrpg" file folder you've been accruing for years (I've got one too, I don't judge).
If you're not seeing the Backerkit emails, specifically the one containing your digital pdf reward, make sure to check your updates/promos tabs or spam filters, and if you still can't find it, please reach out to me so I can get it to you! And thanks again for being part of this journey!

BURNAWAY Development Update #9 (Fill out your survey edition!)

Hello there!
Project manager Ketra and I have been working through the process of setting up BackerKit for the project. After extensive testing and adjusting and re-testing, we're ready to send out the backer surveys for BURNAWAY!
What this means is, any time between now-ish and the next couple days (depending on whether or not you're included in the smoke test), you'll be recieving an email with a link to a survey, where you'll confirm your current mailing address and payment method so that shipping for your rewards can be calculated. This is also your chance to add something like one of our three rad 8x10" prints to your order, if you haven't already!
So, this email is basically a notification for you to be on the lookout for a more important secondary email. On other fronts, we're approaching the final stages of the layout process. Once we get through our revisions and final checks, it's off to the printers officially! We'll be checking in again once we're closer to that stage.
