Hello there, and happy halloWEEK! (the week of halloween, get it?)
The last couple weeks have been quite the ride. We've had moments where I've worried we lost momentum, but we've also had surges that have pushed us forward and rekindled our funding flames. The final week is upon us, and we have less than $500 to go before we're funded! It's going to be very close, but we can still make this happen! That's just 12 more physical book pledges. Know anyone who might be interested in helping this unique ttrpg reach its funding goal? Now's the time to tell them!
As an extra bit of excitement, I've gotten word from our artist Crossvine that the concluding page of the BURNAWAY comic they're illustrating should be finished by the end of this week, so expect another update when that drops!
Now that we're in the home stretch, and so close to our funding goal, I'm really starting to feel the tension. No matter how it ends, I'm incredibly grateful for everyone's support; getting to see other people besides me be excited about this game makes me feel quite proud, and I want to find out what kinds of sessions other storytellers will dream up with it. Let's get it done!

Week 3! Still pushing!

Hello there!
October is flying by fast, and the season is already deepening into Halloween moods. Creepy, spooky, spectral - all great themes that match with BURNAWAY! We planned this campaign to go live around this time to take advantage of that.
We'll have a spot in Indie Press Revolution's monthly newsletter on the 17th, and we'll start adjusting our messaging on Twitter, Tumblr and Meta to appeal to people's sense of the spooky season- ideally people are looking for ttrpgs that match the festive mood.
Thank you once again for your support! It's been a long road, but all been worth it!

Hello there!
We've gotten some great support in our first week; we're clear past the halfway point to our initial funding goal, which is fantastic news! We'll be continuing to push hard throughout this second week to keep the momentum up. And of course, the more folks talk about and share news of our project, the faster we can hit that funding goal and ideally bring on our other writers for their cool takes on the BURNAWAY world!
I'm excited to share with everyone today a full comic page of a BURNAWAY scenario, written by our editor Rascal and drawn by the ineffable Crossvine! How is it all going to go down? Stay tuned...
I'd love to get us to 2k by the end of this week, so we can take advantage of peak Halloween season to drive us to the funding finish line!

Hello all,
First off, thank you so much for your support of this project! As some of you know, this isn't our first funding attempt, so to see many of the previous backers coming back to support us again is incredibly encouraging. We're just $5 away from our halfway point of $1500; if we can get just a few more backers we'll be in incredibly good shape to reach our funding goal with plenty of time to spare for stetch goals! We'd love to get the other writers in on this to make the book the best it can be.
We've still got some exciting suprises in store this month; one of our artists, Crossvine, is putting the finishing touches on a BURNAWAY comic page, so we're all excited to share that with everyone. In the meantime, keeping our momentum up is key to reaching our funding goals- so, if you haven't shared the news or let other folks know about us yet, please consider reaching out to anyone who might be interested! Word-of-mouth is incredibly helpful for smaller projects like this.
